Why take this tour with San
San Park was born and raised in Siem Reap and has guided visitors around Angkor for more than 20 years. He knows when each temple is busiest, which side of Angkor Wat gives the best sunrise reflection, and which corridors are quiet at midday. Many travellers say they would simply have “wandered around aimlessly” without him.
The two-day format gives you a complete picture of the Angkor civilisation without rushing. Day 1 covers the famous trio of Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm. Day 2 heads to quieter, more intimate temples and finishes at Banteay Srei, the most finely carved temple in Cambodia.
Price
USD 35 per person per day: USD 70 per person for both days. No hidden fees. Message San on WhatsApp to confirm your dates and how you’d like to pay.
Questions about this tour
How much does the 2-day Angkor tour cost?
USD 35 per person per day, so USD 70 per person for the full two days. This covers your licensed guide, the private air-conditioned car, driver, petrol and hotel transfers. Temple tickets and meals are extra.
Are meals included?
No. Meals are at your own expense. San stops at good local restaurants for breakfast after the Angkor Wat sunrise on Day 1 and for lunch near Preah Khan on Day 2.
Which Angkor Pass do I need?
A 1-day pass covers only one day, so for this 2-day tour buy the 3-day pass, which is valid on any 3 days within 10 days. San will help you buy the right pass at the official Angkor ticket office, or you can buy it online in advance.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. The tour is private, so San can swap temples, slow the pace for children or older travellers, or skip sunrise if you prefer to sleep in.
Reviews from travellers
“We had a wonderful time at Angkor Wat due to our excellent tour guide San. He was prompt, polite, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. He explained in great detail about all the temples. Without San we had just wandered around aimlessly and not got so much out of the wonder that is Angkor Wat. If you are going to Siem Reap and are visiting the temples make it worthwhile and book San.”
“San did an excellent job showing us the highlights of the area and making a small change on the second day for us. He was always on time and we never felt rushed to complete the day. He provided transportation and even waited for us in the hotel lobby. San was friendly and made us feel welcome and safe. I would highly recommend him for individuals all the way to larger groups. You will be well taken care of.”
“Had a great tour with SanPark Angkor today. Started with the Sunrise Tour at Angkor Wat followed by numerous temples. San was very informative and knew how to navigate the temples, avoiding most of the tourists, and showing us more of the things we wanted to see. San was born and raised in Siem Reap and knows his history. Highly recommended!”
